fruit water

Summer is coming and it is getting a little warmer every day. We must, of course, think that we drink enough during this heat. But how do we make drinking water actually attractive?

I have devised a number of variations for you and listed below. Do you not like a certain ingredient? Then you can always be creative and replace it with something else. All these fruit waters have a simple basis: water! Easy from the tap and ideal for the warm days to find some refreshment. Grab your carafe!

TIP: Let all fruit waters withdraw for at least 30 minutes, preferably longer, so that the fruit is well absorbed in the water.

1. Lime, lemon, and mint

This is the freshest version of fruit water! The lime and lemon are two species that match each other perfectly. Finish with a sprig of fresh mint to give your water a delicious mint flavor. Cut the fruit in half and cut the part that you will use in pieces. This way the juice is easier to release.

  • Water
  • Lime – ½
  • Lemon – ½
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves

2. Orange and blueberry

Mixing orange and blueberries provide a nice variation if you also want something sweet. If you want just a little more juice from the orange, you can squeeze it a little in your carafe. The blueberries are very light in taste and in between, you can also enjoy a piece of fruit. Cut the orange into pieces and detach the blueberries.

  • Water
  • Orange – 1
  • Blueberries – hand
  • Ice cubes

3. Strawberry and lime

Strawberry for the sweet, lime for the fresh. Both these fruits are ideal for combining. Because of the strawberry, your water will probably turn a little red/pink, so the water will also look bright! Cut the strawberry into two or three pieces and also cut the lime in half and use half of it.

  • Water
  • Strawberries – 5 to 10 pieces
  • Lime – ½
  • Ice cubes

4. Colorful fruit water with basil

In this fruit water, there are some more fruit pieces if you have this or would like a bit more variety. This fruit water contains strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, lime, and basil!

  • Blueberries – hand
  • Raspberries – hand
  • Strawberries – 5 to 10 pieces
  • Lime – 1
  • Basil – 2 twigs
  • Ice cubes

Fruit water infuser

Would you like to bring some fruit water on the go? Then a fruit water infuser is very handy to purchase. This is a water bidon where you can do your fruit in a separate part of the bottle. You pour the water, close the cap and you can take it with you in your bag! An advantage of such a bottle is that the fruit can soak well when you are on the go. At your destination, you have delicious fruit water that you can drink right away.

Enjoy!

All these recipes are very easy, which makes it so delicious! This way you ensure that you stay well hydrated during the warm days.
