Quest bars! THE pre-workout snack or just as a healthy snack. You can not ignore it on Instagram, this is a must-try . They are healthy, nutritious, tasty and … pricey !! The life of a fitness album is not always good for finances. Many girls mainly spend their money on going out, cocktails and clothing. Fortunately, there are alternatives!
For example, I spend most of my money on healthy food, food and sports clothing. In addition, I also find it important to look good and cared for in daily life, combining these two interests is sometimes too difficult to accept my bank account.
What I want to say is that the life of a fit girl is sometimes “compromising” and a creative mindset can help you with this! For this reason, I sometimes look here and there how I can save on food by, for example, buying them somewhere else or by simply making more in my beloved kitchen. I really like the latter. I recently made my own Questbars and I was sold!
What do we need?
- 3 scoop protein (taste of your choice)
- 2,5 el FitaVibre syrup
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
Make & shake
Making this bar is pretty simple. You first heat up the syrup in a pan. When you begin to see bubbles in them, add the rest of the ingredients. Mix well. It may be that the mix becomes firm and hard, then add a little water. But not too much because it has to be “stuck”. When the mix is smooth, scoop out the mixture and pour into a mold and let it cool for a few hours in your freezer.
If you cant find it on shop you will have to order it online. The first time I made the Questbars I did this with 2 tablespoons of Agave oil because the FitaVibre had not. This was tasty but less “healthy” .. if you do not make them too often, then this outcome is still reasonably justified. In the beginning it is a bit of playing with the quantities but after a few times you notice already what works best for you!
Good luck and I’m curious about your homemade quest bars !! Tag your photos with #Fitnessalbum and share them via Facebook and Instagram!
